Privacy Policy

Orangeville Christmas Lights takes christmas light installation requests from Orangeville and nearby — Mono, Shelburne, Caledon included. Here is exactly what we keep and why.

What we keep

Whatever you choose to send us. For a christmas light installation request that is usually your name, phone, email and the address and the details of the job. Calls to this site's number are logged with the calling number and time, and voicemails are recorded and transcribed.

Why we collect it

We use it for one thing: getting your job in front of the one holiday lighting installer who handles Orangeville requests for this site. It is not sold, rented, shared with other trades, or added to a mailing list.

Cookies

Nothing is tracking you here. There is no analytics script, no Facebook or Google pixel, and no cookie banner because there are no cookies. The host's server logs are the only record of a visit.

Retention

As long as it takes to handle the request, plus a reasonable period for follow-up and our records. Voicemail recordings are purged on a rolling schedule.

Getting your information removed

Write to hello@orangevillechristmaslights.ca. You are entitled under PIPEDA to see, correct or delete what we hold. Messages from us are only about your request, and replying STOP ends them under CASL.
